How is the glass bowl prepared for painting?
The drawing begins with preparing the glass by cleaning it with soap and water from any traces of fat and dust, rinse with warm water and leave to dry completely. White vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or nail polish remover is placed on a tissue, wipe the glass container with it and leave for 15 minutes to dry, in this case, the bowl is The glass is ready to be painted on.

If the drawing is taken from a specific drawing, it is glued to the glass from the inside so that it is clearly visible, and to make it more clear and stable, soft cloth or cotton can be placed inside, focusing on the drawing is only on the edges and about 2 cm away from the edges.
line drawing stage
To define the outer drawing lines, a flat brush or stencil tape is used to hide areas and prevent discolouration. Drawing lines can be removed after the drawing has dried using the edge of a knife, but care must be taken as much as possible. As for the stencil tape, it must be removed before the drawing dries.
colouring stage
The dotting tool can be used to color large dots and the brush handle can be used to color small dots, in both cases, the tool must be held in a straight way, and removed in a straight way; Because any angle may cause the drawing to be smeared with unwanted spots, and if you want to remove the drawing, you can use nail polish remover on a cotton swab, or use a cleaning sponge to scrape the drawing or use a razor blade for that.
drying stage
The drawing is left to dry in the air for at least 24 hours, or it is dried in a convection oven to fix the colors, after about 20 minutes of drawing, so that the oven is heated to 350 degrees and the glass container is placed in the oven for 20 minutes, then we turn off the oven, but the glass is not taken out until after to cool down.
How can I take care of painting on glass?
For the purposes of cleaning, the painted glass can be washed either manually in the air dryer, in the oven, or in the electric dishwasher. Care must be taken not to soak the painted glassware, in addition to the possibility of placing it in the microwave, and attention must be paid not to food or drink contact with the drawing.
